Description
Connie and Jean begin the interview discussing the definition of gender roles in contemporary society, and consider an explanation of power along gender lines. They proceed to talk about the significance of South Africa, and the relationship between the powerful and the less powerful, before moving on to consider women’s reproductive rights and how gender roles are acquired gradually and subtly over time. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
