Description
This patriotic bulletin was published by the State Board of Education of California, and written by a group of three education commissioners. Copies of the booklet were distributed throughout all California schools. It encouraged children to do their part in supporting American efforts in World War I, and to take pride in their country during the time of crisis. Specific parts of the document are geared towards different ages, genders, and teachers of various subjects. This included a special message from Governor William D. Stephens.
