The paved lanes of Wilshire Boulevard, dotted by automobiles, run from the foreground into the distance. The entrance to the Ambassador Hotel is near the right foreground, while highrise buildings of various styles fill the right center- and backgrounds. Mariposa Street is just visible in the left centerground. The Brown Derby restaurant sits in the left background, in front of the highrise buildings that stretch to the horizon. Picture file card reads "Four years before construction of the Tishman Building on the south side".
