Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Pebbly Beach, east of Avalon, [s.d.]. The wide beach is at center and ends at the base of a hill in the background at center. It is bordered at left by a row of large bushes and at right by the calm ocean. A tall hill covered with bushes can be seen at left. Hancock Banning Sr. built a wagon road from Avalon to this beach in 1905-08. In later years its east end was Avalon's trash dump.
