View of Gothic, Victorian, castle-like building located at 1332 Santa barbara Street near Sola Street. Hand-written on verso, "Built 1878 by J. W. Calkins; J. P. Lacy house, purchased 1903; University Club, Sola and S. B. streets." This mansion, aka "Calkin's Castle," later J.P. Lacy residence, became the University Club in 1923.
