Photograph caption dated March 15, 1958 reads, "Eighteen months can make an awful lot of difference in the lives of people in this town of the 'over-night success,' as witness Valleyites Carolyn Jones and her writer-husband, Aaron Spelling. Now comfortably ensconced in a charming home perched on one of those Sherman Oaks hills, 18 months ago this couple were living in a rented, run-down home which Aaron describes as 'Frankenstein's tomb.' Now these two are just beginning to rise to the pinnacle of success. Carolyn has been nominated for an Academy Award for her performance as the 'existentialist' in 'The Bachelor Party' and Aaron has hit his stride in writing and recently sold his teleplay, 'The Last Man,' to 20th Century-Fox Studios."
