Description
A woman stands in the foreground of this color illustration facing the viewer displaying her riding costume in a masculine style. She holds a riding crop in one hand while the other hand is on her hip. Her red hair is dressed sleejly back beneath her black bowler hat. The top of her outfit has three pieces: a white shirt, a bright yellow vest and a high-waisted navy blue top coat. The top coat is cut to fasten across her chest but is cut away below the waistline. Her long blue skirt is simple, slightly flared and hemmed just above her ankles. Grey gloves and black boots complete the outfit. She stands on a grassy knoll in an autumn landscape with bare trees against a grey sky. Te plate is labeled "Une Amazone."
