(Teresa Chai fra Malaysia var missionær i Bangladesh 1991-99, hvor hun bl.a. udviklede et litteraturprogram med lydoptagelse af bibelske skrifter for det lokale Bibelselskab. Fra 1994-97 var Teresa Chai ansat af DSM som Syd-Syd missionær, hvor hun blev leder af MUL-centret i Harowa, Bangladesh, et udviklingsprojekt for bengalske unge kaldet "Skole for livet" - med uformel læring og undervisning samt erhvervsfaglig uddannelse i edb og engelsk. Programmer der var åbne for forskellige etniske og religiøse grupper, muslimer, hinduer, kristne mv.)

Bangladesh, Harowa? 1991. From right to left: Stephen Baroi, Teresa Chai and Anni Schrøder. (Teresa Chai from Malaysia served as missionary to Bangladesh, 1991-99, during which time she developed a literacy program using audio-Scriptures for the local Bible Society. From 1994-97 Teresa Chai was employed as South-South missionary by DSM. She headed the MUL Centre, a development project among Bangladeshi youth called a "School for Life", teaching them life skills as well as vocational training in computers and English. All these programs were open for people from Muslim, Hindu, tribal, as well as Christian religions.)
