Description
Photograph of two old buildings in Fiddletown, 1936. To the left a one-story building composed of wooden planks is visible with an inclined shinged roof. A screen door is visible in the center of the front wall with two windows on either side of it, while a shingled awning is visible hanging over the front of the building. A dirt sidewalk is visible running in front of the building, while a second building made from brick stands in the right background. Three archways are visible in front, while two women wearing dresses and a small child stand in front of the middle archway. An automobile stands parked to the right in front of the second building. A dirt road runs in front of both buildings to the bottom right while tall trees are visible to the right of the buildings. Photoprint reads: "Two old buildings - The large one bears the sign 'C. Schallarus, Blacksmith and Wagon Shop' 1870 ".
