Photograph caption dated October 8, 1963 reads, "Community carnival in Granada Hills commands joint effort by religious and charitable groups in the area. Planning game booths -- complete with tickets and prizes -- are, from left, Conrad McMahill, Mrs. Simon Alban, Fred Keene and Mrs. Walter Jacobs. North Valley Jubilee will open at 3 p.m. Thursday and run through Sunday. Attractions will be games, food, carnival rides and bands."
