Description
"Raw Food Float. Great quantities of raw melons are eaten. They are exposed for sale without protection of any kind
in addition raw water is poured on the cut surfaces to keep the melons fresh and moist. Incidentally the flies and dust contaminate the melons. To the right is a tray full of peeled water chestnuts which is also handled by many before actually sold and so constitutes a danger." Two small tables rest on a platform meant to be carried in a parade.
