This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
No text. Photo is of the wooden building of Frank Munson Hay & Grain after it had been struck by fire. Bales of hay are lying outside the building. J. Kane Wines, Liquors and Cigars are around the corner. A couple of apartment buildings are seen to the left. Car tracks can be seen in the foreground. The addresses of Frank Munson, 890 on one side and 501-507 on the other, have failed to match any city directory listings. The building appears to be either in the South of Market area or in the Inner Mission.
