V1p233b In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 233 bottom. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." No text. Photo is of the wooden building of Frank Munson Hay & Grain after it had been struck by fire. Bales of hay are lying outside the building. J. Kane Wines, Liquors and Cigars are around the corner. A couple of apartment buildings are seen to the left. Car tracks can be seen in the foreground. The addresses of Frank Munson, 890 on one side and 501-507 on the other, have failed to match any city directory listings. The building appears to be either in the South of Market area or in the Inner Mission.
