Description
Robert Crais discusses his book, “Indigo Slam.” He begins by explaining that this is the 7th book in his series that follows his character Investigator Elvis Cole. He talks about the research he has done, and that he follow police officers and go on ride-alongs. He describes the foster children system, and many children get separated from their siblings. Crais discusses how the Russian mafia has been moving to America even since the fall of the Soviet Union. He talks about how he models characters in his book after his family members and friends. He ends the interview by describing that he used to write for police and detective television shows.
