Description
New Orleans: Helmeted police, wearing armored vests and carrying automatic rifles and carbines dash across a driveway at the Desire Housing Project 11/18 in the wake of a police armored car. The police were on the scene to evict a group of Black Panthers who have taken over one unit (REAR) of the project and have said they will be killed before they will leave. The police left later when Panther lawyers said they wanted to take the illegal trespass law to court 11/19.
