(walls are up ready for roof now)" A labeled and numbered view of the Kalomo mission compound where Orville and Augusta Brittell, American missionaries from Churches of Christ to Zambia, worked. John Sherriff and W. N. Short, American missionaries from Churches of Christ, began the mission in 1922. Orville Brittell joined them in 1939 and married Augusta Scott, daughter of George and O. R. Scott who were also missionaries from Churches of Christ who worked at the mission station.
