"Picknic i dronningens have 1896" ("A picnic in the Queen's garden 1896"). Queen Ranavalona III together with her English and Norwegian missionary guests in her garden.
Some of the guests have played tennis. First row nr.3 from the left: Queen Ranavalona III -in a dark suit with white trimmings on her hat. Sitting in row 2 nr.2 from the right: Johanne Borchgrevink (white hat), 1836-1924. In the back to the right: Christian Borchgrevink, 1841-1919.
