Description
Perhaps this nifty Indian dance isn't the "Big Apple" but the Indians like it just as well. This group of Indian boys from the Sherman Institute near Riverside did a series of native dances before the Riverside Lion's Club at the Mission Inn yesterday. Dancer is Paul Quamahonewa, an Arizona Hopi Indian. Standing from left to right is: Joe Cata and Emil Yepa, both are from the San Juan Pueblo tribe of New Mexico; and Woodrow Allen, a Navajo Indian from New Mexico. Photo dated: February 4, 1938.
