Photograph of a painting of the Plaza Church, Los Angeles, 1857. The church can be seen at center, with its entrance visible at left. Trees and a picket fence can be seen in front of the building. A man riding a horse is visible in front of the fence to the right of center. What appears to be a portion of the roof of a building can be seen in the extreme right foreground, while a bush or shadows of foliage can be seen in the extreme left foreground. A mountain is depicted in the background. Back of photoprint reads "See # 1863".
