Description
Photograph of hotel floats in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on Colorado Street, ca.1926. Spectators to flock on either side of the street, sitting in bleachers to the right and pressing in onto the road at the left to see the young woman sitting in the center of a shell-shaped float in the lead of the scene. Farther back, a second float shaped to look like a gilded cage reads "Pasadena". Banners hang over the street from cables suspended between posts. In the background, highrise buildings and the top edge of a church can be seen.
