Description: The Timothy McCarthy family poses in front of the old Herman W. Hellman residence. It is a single-story Victorian house on a fenced lot, located on the northeast corner of 4th and Spring Streets. A gazebo is to the right. Hellman was a banker with Farmers and Merchants Bank of Los Angeles. Photo dated: Nov. 29, 1894.
