Annotation translation: "7) Lazarus, a member of the congregation in Sekoban, who has been made a cripple by yaws. He has to be carried each time to the service, because he can take not a single step on his own legs.Every day he sits in his hut and tries to make a living by making nets. He is about 50 years old." Annotation: "7) Lazarus, ein Gemeindemitglied von Sekoban, den die Framboesie zum Krüppel gemacht hat. Er muss immer in den Gottesdienst getragen werden, weil er keinen Schritt mehr auf seinen eigenen Beinen gehen kann. Tag für Tag sitzt er in seiner Hütte & sucht durch Netzflechten sich den Lebensunterhalt zu verdienen. Er ist etwa 50 Jahre alt." Stamped: "Museum der Basler Mission Basel, Missionsstrasse 21."
