Photograph caption dated February 16, 1955 reads, "Harlan 'Bud' Gurney and Charles A. 'Slim' Lindbergh, right, back in early flying days. Pair used to fly mail together and did some barnstorming when aviation was young. Gurney was only 16 when he learned to fly."
