Exterior of the fourth building to house the San Pedro Banch Library. This 6,000 sq. ft. structure, designed by San Pedro architect James H. Friend, cost $125,000 to build and furnish, and was the first branch to be built after a ten year break in city library construction. Near the center of the image, on the upper right side of the building, is a mural that depicts the San Pedro Harbor as it appeared in 1850.
