Description
The 1960 report contains recommendations and preliminary data in planning for the elimination of blighted areas in Sacramento ten years prior in 1950. It opens with a letter written in 1960 from one of the report's original planning consultants, Robert E. Alexander, to his colleague on the report Richard J. Neutra. The areas of blight discussed in this report were once Sacramento's West End and redeveloped as Capitol Avenue and Old Sacramento. Included are photographs, illustrations, and urban geography maps.
