Description
Looking down First Street, with the Bank of America (Bank of Italy) building in the background on the right. The American Trust Company building is on the left. The street is crowded with automobiles and pedestrians. Other businesses: Herolds, Blums, Kirby's Shoes, Leed's Shoes, Grants, Kress, Cut Rate Linen Storet, The Hat Box, Lee's Cocktails, The Karmelkorn and Nut Bowl, Postal Telegraph, Montgomery Ward, Sontag Drugs, Dan Levin Jeweler, Gus Millet. A bus for Willow Glen is stopped at the intersection at the bottom of the image. This image was likely taken at the same time as 2017-8-6, which is a continuation of First Street.
