Photograph caption dated January 23, 1961 reads "Wardamasky says magnetic tape is replacing letters." The article partially reads "Narrow, fragile strips of recording tape are being used to build bridges of friendship around the world. This is the word from Peter Wardamasky, 13045 Roscoe Blvd., Sun Valley, a member of a rapidly growing international group named 'World Tape Pals.'"
