Description
Harold Brown addressing the guests at the dedication of the 60-inch telescope, Palomar Observatory. Brown is standing behind a podium, inside the Oscar G. Mayer memorial building which houses the telescope. A small portion of the telescope is seen in the upper right-hand corner of the photograph. The unidentified guests are seated in chairs in front of Brown. The ladder leading to the observatory's balcony is seen in the background, to Brown's left. The balcony is behind him.
