Photograph caption dated January 6, 1965 reads, "Safe at home - Charles and Jeanne Cushman of 5522 Sylvia Ave., Tarzana, smile over memories of a Christmas spent in the wilds of Northern California when they were trapped by floods. They hold friendship letter, a gift from the friends with whom they stayed."
