Description
Ft. Meade, MD: Brig. Gen. John W. Donaldson, accused of slaying six Vietnamese civilians, arrives for a closed hearing 6/24 at which specification of charges will be read to him. The hearing is the Army's equivalent of a grand jury investigation. Donaldson is the highest ranking officer to be accused of murdering civilians in Indochina and the first U.S. general in 70 years to be charges with a war crime.
