Dick Lean, left photo, begins unpackaging many boxes of rolls so they will be ready to pop into the oven. Rookie Don Eisele, center photo, gets the job of mashing the huge pot of potatoes. Bill Kant, last photo, starts chopping lettuce for the salad. Lean and Kant were co-chefs at the recent Fire Prevention Recognition Luncheon, where the Burbank Fire Department presented awards to essay and poster winners from the local schools and treated them to lunch."
