Description
Exterior view of Don Lee Cadillac and La Salle, which was located on the northwest corner of 655 E. Green Street and El Molino Avenue. The architects of this structure were Marston and Maybury. The Pasadena Furniture Company is visible in the background (it was located at 532-542 East Colorado Street). Front: Don Lee Cadillac La Salle building, with cars parked alongside the building. A sign halfway down the side of the building advertises used car sales: "Used Car Sale / All Prices Greatly Reduced / Over 20 Years Cadillac Dealer / G.M.A.C. Terms". Visible on the curb of the sidewalk are indicators for E. Green St. and S. El Molino Ave. Over the bottom left corner of the photo is printed "528 / Western Venetian Blinds", which possibly means that this photo was used as an advertisement for the venetian blinds seen in the windows of the building. Also, visible on the front doors and the front window grates are wreaths, so the photo was probably taken around Christmas.
