Description
Exterior view of the Greek Revival style residence (1864) of Phineas Banning, who was a businessman, stagecoach driver, entrepreneur, and often referred to as the 'Father of the Port of Los Angeles." Located at 401 East M Street in Banning Park in Wilmington, the home has been preserved as the Banning Residence Museum, managed by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
