Photograph caption dated March 9, 1960 reads "Russell A. Quisenberry, standing, right, former Valley Times publisher and current honorary chairman of board, and John J. Tuttle, center, former Valley Times treasurer, talk with officers of Valley Youth Foundation as they present last $3,500 of Valley Times-pledged $10,000 grant to support Valley Youth Center program. With them are, from left, standing, Norman Caldwell, president; Mrs. Vertus Geissinger, vice president, and Mrs. Marvin Owen, past president, all of Valley Youth Foundation." The foundation is headquartered at the youth center, 17400 Victory Boulevard in Van Nuys.
