A letter to Mr. Inoue by an unnamed correspondent. The unnamed correspondent writes that it was quite a surprise when Mr. Hopper had him get in touch with the editor of Quality Progress last summer to discuss an article on his work from 1948 to 1950 in Japan. The unnamed correspondent states that he will send a copy of the September issue with the article if Inoue does not already have it. The unnamed correspondent writes that Mr. Hopper recently sent him a copy of an article by Malcolm Trevor from the British publication, Policy Studies. In the article, Trevor speaks highly of the work of Inoue and Katō. The unnamed correspondent goes on to say that a Harvard Business School student visited him to learn more about the Civil Communications Section (CCS) and is writing a thesis on the improvement of quality and management. The unnamed correspondent is probably Charles W. Protzman, Sr.
