Photograph caption date stamped May 26, 1963 reads "Encino's April Richardson gets in some extra practice for the women's senior AAU swim championships at Berea, Ohio, this week. The swimmers will be out to qualify for the Pan American Games team which will travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil, in April. Los Angeles Athletic Club swim coach Pete Daland checks April's starting form in a recent workout at the athletic club."
