Description
Hawaiian board-maker Tommy Nellis was among over thirty-five top Island shapers and master glassers (laminators) employed by Lighting Bolt Surfboards during its heyday in the 1970s. Other famous shapers at Lightning Bolt included Gerry Lopez, Barry Kanaiaupuni, Bill Barnfield, Tom Parrish, and Wayne Santos. Nellis shaped this Lighting Bolt board for the smaller waves of Oahu’s North Shore. 8 ft., 5 in.
