A portion of the new 126-inch steel pipe spanning Magazine Canyon which was recently completed as a replacement for a damaged 181-foot length of the Los Angeles Owens River Aqueduct is pictured in foreground. The Maclay Hi-line connection is at left. In background is the new 76-inch Saugus Pipeline rising on piers over Terminal Hill, part of the Second Los Angeles Aqueduct.
