Description
A slightly elevated panoramic view of downtown Long Beach, facing south. Ocean runs the width of the image, and is lined with hotels, theaters, shops, cafes, apartment buildings, and a Southern Pacific/Pacific Electric/Santa Catalina building. The beach and the ocean are visible beyond the buildings across the street, and there are some people on the beach and in the water. A stamp in the bottom left reads "Pettit's Studio ; commercial photographers ; 1416 W. Pico Blvd. ; Richmond 8634 ; Los Angeles 15, Calif." A stamp below that reads "July 25 1946".
