Description
Bob Hope and Jane Russell opened the annual Los Angeles Police Show as traditional guest artists, as Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker looked on. The musical extravaganza featured stars of stage, screen, radio, and television participants. A near capacity crowd of 5,000 persons watched the opening night show that has become one of the city's greatest entertainment spectacles. Photo dated: May 3, 1952.
