On front: "Skeleton walls of buildings that remained standing after the fire had been overcome. In the foreground is the Palace Hotel. How short had been the era of the automobile is brought to notice by their absence from the streets in the pictures. Note the pinched waists, puffed sleeves, voluminous skirts and pancake hats that were the fashion of that day.
