Pictured is a letter from Burbank Municipal Court Judge Leonard W. Hamner to the Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Company. The letter reads "Gentlemen: I have known Mr. Robert Strong for a number of years and know he is a man of good reputation and character, and I feel sure that he will use the badges only in his work." The letter is dated November 21, 1957.
