Description
Photograph caption dated March 18, 1989 reads, "Clowns get into the act as an elephant pulls an RTD bus near Santa Monica Pier yesterday. It was beast vs. bus in what was billed as a St. Patrick's Day tug of war. The event served to kick off a special promotion for circus lovers.
