Description
A photograph showing actors and actresses playing in a “Mermaid” production at the Little Theater circa 1929. Originally opened in 1927 for local community productions, puppet shows, and poetry readings, the little theater thrived as an ideal stage. The theater is adjacent to the Memorial Auditoriums main stage connected by the main lobby. Closed in 1982, it reopened on May 24, 2000 and was named after Jean Runyon who gave extensively to the Sacramento theater community.
