Identity of photographer questionable. Note: Signatur: "Atar Sc." Note translation: The dating here is a problem. If Ramseyer took the photograph it is, I think, impossible for it to be dated before 1896. Therefore the caption either indicates that he took a photograph in 1896 of this kind of archtecture characteristic of the city before 1896, or that the photograph had been really taken before 1896 and Ramseyer had somehow acquired it from a 3rd party.
