Description
Image is of the Plaza filled with people watching a parade of horse-drawn boat and barrel floats. In the background, despite the terrible fires of May and June of this year (as Baird notes), are several buildings facing the Plaza. These include a post office and a court. There are many United States flags flying throughout the scene. "Publ. & Lith. by Quirot & Co. Califa. corner Montgy. St. S. F."--text, below image. There is a handwritten word in the lower left corner of the sheet and above the image. Paper color: gray.
