Description: Cars are parked in front of San Jose City Hall which stood in the middle of City Hall Park, now Plaza de Cesar Chavez. Ivy covers some of the red brick walls. City hall was built in 1889. It was modeled after a Victorian-era Bavarian town Hall. It was demolished in 1958. A children's play fountain now standsat this spot.
