Description
1991-0230. Three-quarter length portrait in costume. Starred as Kate Hardcastle in Oliver Goldsmith's play at Haymarket Theatre in London. Born Emilie Charlotte Le Breton in 1853 on the island of Jersey. Became an actress in 1881, put together her own company, toured the United States and the United Kingdom. Bought land in Guenoc Valley, Lake County, California in 1888, became an American citizen. Died in 1929.
