Interview with N. J. Kimball, director of the child care center "A Children's Place", located at the Sonoma County Administration Center. This video recording is part of a long series of television programs entitled "Sonoma County in the [70s, etc.]," were produced between the late 1970s and mid-1990s for Sonoma County public access cable television under direction of the Sonoma County Public Information Office, now known as the County Administrator's Office. Each segment features interviews with Sonoma County elected and appointed officials, department heads, and individuals associated with local educational and cultural organizations. Some segments also feature local business owners and include public service announcements. The purpose for creating these television segments was to capture the institutional memory of particular interviewees and in some cases document the importance of specific county facilities. The films have local significance that could be fully realized because of format obsolescence (3/4" Umatic and VHS) prior to digitization. 4:03 3.75 ips 00:01:10 NTSC 2-track mono California Audiovisual Preservation Project (CAVPP) Master
