Description
The job is done! This is the tail end of a fireman's job. They've just returned from a mission and they neatly fold the hose back onto the truck. Back at the station they wait for the next call. Sometimes they wait for hours, but one minute of a fireman's work often means life for a fire victim. Photo dated: August 8, 1953.
