Stanford University "Figure of Grief" shattered and broken from San Francisco Earthquake, 1906. Shows sculpted winged figure posturing grief on podium, remnants of dome and supporting pillars collapse at left, vase of calla lilies at base of sculpture. Palo Alto; 1906.
